My dad went into hospice care today. I’m taking some time off from everything, except pondering some ideas for writing. I want to capture some of this experience later. It’s important to me to write, I realize that now. Having anyone read my work would be great, but seems less necessary as time goes on.
For any of you who have had the opportunity to spend a long goodbye with someone you love: it’s a bittersweet thing.
